    your plans, worked excellently! I am a high school teacher of Metalwork in Ireland. I also got my students to make this project now they are dying for another project. A minimal amount of tools are required. You will need axcess to a welder as there is a small amount of welding required. Once all the materials are gathered up (material list included) it will take approx. 3 - 5 hours to build.

    These plans are in PDF format. If you need a PDF reader you can get it FREE from Adobe. Instructions are provided to link you to adobe with the plans. These diggers can be built with tools found around most home workshops. You do not have to be an expert woodworker to build this toy. They are very easy to build. It can be built with no power tools but it would be much easier if you have 3/8 power drill and a jigsaw. The light gauge sheet metal for the bucket is easily cut with a pair of tin snips.
